Site operation
Vercel hosts the public pages. To deliver them and maintain security, the hosting service processes requests including IP address, browser headers, and request time. The actual retention of hosting logs depends on Vercel settings; we do not promise an unverified fixed period.
Optional analytics
We load the Google Analytics 4 tag (measurement ID G-28MBV0F6QX) and send events only after you explicitly allow analytics. We use it to understand page and soil-volume tool use, not to show personalized ads based on this choice. Events cover page views, article reading and engagement, tool use, and clicks on reference links. Parameters may include a sanitized page path, language, article ID, crop category, and source-site domain. We do not send search terms, soil dimensions, or calculation results as these event parameters. Google may also process browser, device, session, and approximate location data.
Browser storage and retention
Your analytics choice is stored in your browser for 180 days. If allowed, GA4 may set first-party analytics cookies on this site for 365 days without renewal on activity. We set GA4 user-level and event-level data retention to 2 months, without resetting user retention on new activity. This setting does not directly control standard aggregate reports.
Your choices
You can allow, refuse, or withdraw analytics at any time through “Analytics settings” in the footer. Refusing does not affect reading or the soil tool. Withdrawal stops future analytics sends and attempts to remove analytics cookies created by this configuration. Data already sent to Google is not automatically recalled by withdrawing or deleting cookies.
